She also dated George Tedesco, a doctor, in 1976. However, he was beaten to death by Catherine. After the couple had divided, she got a divorce, saying she was his common-law wife.

Catherine was ultimately charged with attempted murder, but she was able to get out of it. Later her client Marrisa Hierro filed a case against her for killing her husband, Michael Hierro.

Clint Shelton, her current partner, is said to be facing a life sentence for a murder he denied executing. She's been a subject of controversy in media for a long time.
